Job summary

Job description

Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, children's hospital, three community hospitals and the region's largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

• Join our Division of Pediatric Infectious Disease within Baystate Children's Hospital (BCH) in Springfield MA. BCH is a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with subspecialists across 15 pediatric divisions. Our 107-bed facility includes the region's only PICU and level III NICU, as well as a designated 24-hour pediatric ED and outpatient specialty services.

• Provide outpatient services including pediatric HIV, TB, and family travel clinics, as well as inpatient consults. Participate in a model of shared telehealth coverage. We also have a well-established Antimicrobial Stewardship Program that includes a team of pediatric pharmacists, pharmacy residents and students.

• Opportunity for research/QI support available.

• Combination of clinical care and resident and medical student teaching with faculty appointment at UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate.

• Qualifications: ABMS BE/BC Pediatric Infectious Diseases. Excellent mentorship available for those early in their careers.

• Our compensation package consists of a base salary of between $190,000- $270,000 (based on 1.0 FTE, experience level and qualifications) and annual incentive bonus opportunities.
