Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH), Central Texas Division is seeking a full-time/part-time BC/BE, fellowship-trained Pediatric Infectious Diseases subspecialist who enjoys clinical and teaching roles to join two full-time Board Certified Pediatric Infectious Diseases Subspecialists in the Section of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Division of Subspecialty Pediatrics of the Department of Pediatrics. The department has an outstanding Pediatric Residency program and fellowships in Neonatology and Pediatric Hospital Medicine.
The Pediatric ID subspecialist will primarily provide direct consultation and follow-up care in inpatient and outpatient settings, including outreach telemedicine clinics/consults, and will teach residents, fellows, and medical students in our family-friendly Central Texas Hill Country area.
Current Pediatric ID subspecialists are involved in patient care, teaching, clinical vaccinology research, antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention and control, and administration. Candidates can choose a full/part-time clinical and teaching position or a combination with part-time research at the BSWH Center for Research in Vaccines and Infections.
