Job description

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated, full time In-Home Caregiver to provide non-medical assistance to a 6 year old with special needs in his home.The ideal candidate will have experience in providing personal care, companionship, and support to childrenor disabled individuals, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Split Schedule: Monday-Friday
7am - 9am
4:00pm - 9:30pm
Weekends: time is flexible.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation, laundry, and general cleaning.
• Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Ensure the client’s home environment is safe and comfortable.
• Playing and being a friend.
• Monitor the well-being of the client and communicate any changes to family members or supervisors.
• Assist with running errands such as grocery shopping, appointments, and other activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift and assist with mobility if needed.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain certification).
