Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is hiring a radiology technologist with expertise across X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound. The role emphasizes high image quality, staff mentorship, and efficient patient flow in a dynamic imaging department.

The position requires ARRT/ARDMS certification and leadership experience; a Bachelor's degree and BLS certification are preferred. 40-hour work weeks with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $5,000 relocation assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• Five years of technical experience in X-ray, CT, MRI or US and one year supervisory/management.
• Must hold ARRT (CT) or ARRT (MRI) or ARRT (CT/MR) or ARDMS.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency in the use of all modality equipment and monitors image quality.
• Coordinates activities to ensure timely patient flow and staff scheduling.
• Tracks time and attendance and ensures accurate documentation in radiology systems.
• Participates in quality initiatives and Joint Commission readiness.
