Job summary

Optigy Group’s Fort Myers hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Transport Team, delivering safe pediatric and neonatal patient care during ground transport within Lee, Collier, Charlotte, and DeSoto counties.

This on-site role requires NICU/PICU experience, active Florida RN license, and BLS/ACLS as applicable; compensation includes shift differential and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program; Associates or Bachelors preferred.
• NICU and PICU experience required.
• Florida RN license active.
• AHA BLS certification current for at least 90 days post-hire.
• ACLS certification required if applicable, valid for at least 90 days post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document patient care during ground transport using nursing process.
• Coordinate care based on ANA standards and Florida Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and customer service excellence.
• Incorporate patient age and cultural diversity into care provision.
• Follow nursing code of ethics and regulatory standards.
