Job summary

Lee Health's Golisano Children's Hospital in Fort Myers is seeking an experienced RN to join the Critical Care Transport Team. This PRN night-shift role covers Lee, Collier, Charlotte and DeSoto counties, delivering high‑quality nursing care during transport.

The nurse will apply the nursing process, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and adhere to ANA standards and Florida licensure requirements, contributing to exceptional patient outcomes and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with licensure in Florida.
• NICU and PICU experience required for transfer duties.
• Current Basic Life Support certification and valid RN license.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced transport setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document patient care through the nursing process during transport.
• Coordinate and direct nursing care per established standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate professional development and leadership within the transport team.
