Job summary

Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children seeks an Advanced Registered Nurse to deliver specialized pediatric care in a high-acuity setting. You will monitor patients, operate and interpret complex equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to optimize outcomes.

Requirements include graduation from an approved nursing program, current Florida RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC are required for certain areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Florida RN license; BLS/Healthcare Provider certified.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC are required for certain areas.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an RN in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced pediatric nursing care in a high-acuity unit.
• Monitor and respond to patient conditions using complex equipment and telemetry.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interprofessional team to develop and revise care plans.
• Advocate for patients and families, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Document care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
