Job summary

Pediatric Specialty Care is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Aide to join our pediatric care team in Point Pleasant, PA. The role supports healing and safety by maintaining a clean, home-like environment for children and families.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies, with a shift Tue-Sat 7:00am-3:00pm. Prior housekeeping experience is welcome but not required; 21+ and a high school diploma are requested.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull objects.
• English language fluency required.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Perform terminal cleaning after transfers, discharges, or transitions.
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces daily to control infection.
• Wet and dry mop floors and use safety signage.
• Clean furniture, fixtures, mirrors, walls, baseboards, stairwells, elevators, and windows.
• Maintaining clean and soiled utility rooms.
• Restock housekeeping carts and maintain organized supply areas.
• Respond to emergency housekeeping needs and submit maintenance requests.
• Interact respectfully and compassionately with children, families, staff, and visitors.
• Protect confidentiality and respect privacy at all times.
