Athens, Ohio, Medical Director Pediatric Hospitalist Job

• Clinical Role:
  • Medical Director to lead a team of 3 Pediatric Hospitalists
  • Newborn nursery care with NICU support from Neonatologists
  • 24/7 on-call coverage, round and go model with call from home
  • Pediatric Hospitalists will perform circumcisions
  • Provide expert Pediatric consultations to the Emergency Department, offering timely assessments, recommendations, and treatment plans for pediatric patients
  • Work closely with a team of Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologists to provide coordinated and comprehensive care
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and clinical research projects
  • Exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of providers, including over 400 NICUs and several thousand providers
  • Note: Not accepting Locums, visa candidates, commuters, secondary employment, or new graduates; experience required.
