MedStar Medical Group Pediatric Hospitalist Positions

MedStar Medical Group is seeking pediatric hospitalist physicians for full-time, part-time, and PRN roles at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital. Responsibilities include providing high-quality care to pediatric patients in newborn nurseries and ER consults.

Located in Leonardtown, Maryland, MedStar St. Mary's Hospital is a 120-bed full-service facility offering emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care. Pediatric hospitalists cover the newborn nursery, attend high-risk deliveries, and perform C-sections.

St. Mary's County features top-rated schools, low crime, affordable housing, and proximity to Washington D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York City, and Richmond, VA.

The ideal candidate will have current Maryland licensure/eligibility, BC/BE in pediatrics, recent pediatric hospitalist experience, and neonatal resuscitation skills per NRP guidelines, including intubation, line placement, and stabilization prior to transport. Excellent communication skills are essential. Multiple shift options are available.
