Job summary

CompHealth is seeking inpatient pediatric specialists for 24-hour call coverage in Madison, Wisconsin. Shifts run 7 am to 7 am with patient census typically 1-3 on Level I nursery, up to 5 on pediatric floor during peak season, and call relief coverage as needed. Attendance at high-risk cesareans may be required.

Qualifications

• PALS certification required.
• Experience with inpatient pediatrics and nursery care preferred.
• Ability to cover 24-hour on-call shifts and attend high-risk sections as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatric and nursery care.
• Staff 24-hour call coverage with 7 am–7 am shifts.
• Manage census typically 1–3 Level I nursery, 0–1 Level II nursery, 0–2 pediatric floor patients daily.
• Attend high-risk cesareans when required.
