Job summary

Corewell Health Children’s Hospital in Royal Oak, MI is seeking a compassionate full‑time Pediatric Hospitalist to join a collegial team. The role includes in‑house and overnight home‑call coverage, admissions, ED consultations, and supervision of residents and medical students.

The division offers a Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship and close collaboration with OUWB School of Medicine. There is a strong emphasis on teaching, research, and quality improvement in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• BE/BC in General Pediatrics required.
• BE/BC in Pediatric Hospital Medicine preferred but not required.
• Unrestricted License and DEA – Michigan MD/DO.
• Interest in teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric admissions and pediatric ED consultations.
• Round on well newborns and participate in daily family-centered bedside rounding.
• Supervise residents and participate in teaching activities.
• Oversee education, quality improvement, and clinical protocol development.
• Collaborate with pediatric advanced practice providers and OUWB medical students.
