Job summary

Cook Children’s Health Care System is seeking a full-time pediatric hospitalist to care for patients at our Fort Worth and Prosper campuses. The role focuses on general pediatric admissions and close collaboration with pediatric subspecialties and an experienced advanced practice team.

Candidates should be board eligible/certified in pediatrics, hold an unrestricted Texas license, and possess a DEA certificate along with BLS and PALS.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Must have completed an ACGME- or AMA-approved pediatrics residency.
• Board certified/board eligible in Pediatrics.
• Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date).
• DEA Certificate.
• American Heart Association BLS and PALS.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for pediatric patients at Cook Children’s Medical Center Fort Worth and Prosper.
• Attend to general pediatric admissions and collaborate with pediatric subspecialists.
• Coordinate with advanced practice team for admissions and overnight cross-coverage.
