Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital is seeking a pediatric hospitalist (BE/BC) to join our inpatient pediatrics program. The role centers on safe, high-quality newborn and pediatric care within a collaborative hospital environment.

The ideal candidate is patient-centered, adaptable, and committed to advancing pediatric care across our growing health system, with a 7-on/7-off schedule and privileges at NM Huntley, McHenry, and Woodstock Hospitals.

Qualifications

• Board-certified pediatrician preferred.
• Physician with BE/BC in Pediatrics.

Responsabilités

• Provide inpatient pediatric and newborn hospitalist care.
• 7 days on, 7 days off hospitalist schedule.
• Manage acute pediatric conditions and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with nursing, case management, emergency medicine, and specialty services.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams.
• Hospital privileges at NM Huntley, McHenry, and Woodstock Hospitals.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to program development.
