PeaceHealth Sacred Heart RiverBend in Springfield, OR seeks pediatric hospitalists to provide care for newborns, children, and adolescents in a dedicated unit, with 24/7 coverage and collaboration with surgeons and subspecialists. Telemedicine support from Portland intensivists is available.

The role includes a guaranteed first-year income of $201,011.20 (based on 0.8 FTE), relocation stipend, education loan reimbursement, CME up to $3,300, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• MD or DO (or foreign equivalent).
• Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Pediatric residency (or RCPSC-accredited Canadian Pediatric residency).
• Unrestricted Washington State medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric hospitalist care for newborns, children, and adolescents.
• Work 24/7 coverage with day and overnight shifts.
• Collaborate with pediatric surgeons and subspecialists; provide consultation and co-management; telemedicine support from pediatric intensivists.
