The Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) within The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein (CHAM) / Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York seeks candidates to join our dynamic and growing faculty.

CHAM is a quaternary care, academic children’s hospital serving the Bronx, Westchester, and the Hudson Valley with a strong foundation in quality improvement, educational innovation, and research.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in pediatrics.
• Experience in academic pediatric hospital medicine and inpatient care.
• Proven teaching abilities across learners at multiple levels.
• Research and/or quality improvement training or experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient pediatric hospital medicine care.
• Educate residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Lead or participate in quality improvement initiatives and scholarly activities.

Faculty Positions

The Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) in the Department of Pediatrics at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein (CHAM)/Albert Einstein School of Medicine is seeking candidates to join our dynamic and growing faculty. CHAM is a quaternary care, academic children’s hospital in New York City, serving the diverse patient population of the Bronx, Westchester County and the Hudson Valley. Our Division includes 16 pediatric hospitalists and 11 physician assistants. The Division has a strong foundation in Quality and Performance Improvement, educational innovation, and research. In addition, we are proud to have a premier PHM fellowship, and our division members are core faculty for the pediatric residency program and medical student education.

We are looking for a Board certified/Board eligible candidate who is committed to a career in academic Pediatric Hospital Medicine. That candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic and will have the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The candidate must be an outstanding clinician dedicated to the care of hospitalized children and their families, and an excellent educator of learners at all levels. We are particularly interested in candidates with research and/or quality improvement training/experience. Leadership opportunities are available for qualified candidates. Scholarly productivity expectations will be aligned with the candidate’s interests and the Division’s mission. Fellowship or advanced training is strongly preferred. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.

In addition to a competitive salary of $175,000-$210,000 commensurate with academic rank, we offer the opportunity to enhance compensation with clinical productivity incentives and bonuses.
