Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a board-certified Pediatric Hospitalist for a Locum Tenens assignment in Fargo, ND. The position covers day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with overnight call as needed, starting ASAP and continuing ongoing.

The hospital has Epic EMR, a small team, and supports APN/PA for coverage. Typical daily census is about 11 patients with 1–2 admissions per shift. Mature candidates with at least 2 years of pediatric hospitalist experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified pediatrician with hospitalist experience.
• ND medical license or eligibility required.
• Active BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric hospitalist care for inpatients and nursery patients.
• Manage average daily census of ~11 patients.
• Handle 1–3 admissions per shift and participate in overnight call.
• Collaborate with APRN/PA for evening coverage and perform intubations when needed.
