Responsibilities

• Provides cleaning services in patient rooms, wards, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices and other areas following schedule and methods.
• Dusts surfaces and empties trash; replenishes supplies.
• Cleans walls, windows, and fixtures; handles linens as assigned.
• Maintains safe handling and disposal of chemicals as per procedures.
• Supports admissions, discharges and transfers cleaning needs and communicates barriers to leaders.
• Contributes to continuous quality improvement of services.
