Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Physical/Occupational/Speech Therapist or Social Worker for a home-based Infant Learning program in Wasilla, AK. You will assess development from birth to age three, design IFSPs with family goals, and coordinate with doctors and service providers.

Applicants must have a related Bachelor’s degree, state licensure, and 1+ year of early childhood experience. Travel to family visits and strong collaboration with parents are essential for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a specific discipline and current State licensure or certification.
3+ academic credits in child development.
Master’s Degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech/Language Therapy, or related field preferred.
Training in PAT, FAN, or other home visiting/family coaching models preferred.
1+ years of experience in early childhood or preschool activity with parents.
Experience in a non-profit or mission-driven environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Screen, evaluate, and assess developmental performance of children birth to age three in all developmental areas.
Develop, monitor, and implement an IFSP based on parent goals for the child and family.
Obtain doctor’s orders for evaluation and ongoing therapy and develop plans of care.
Assist families to build confidence and collaborate on functional activities for development.
Drive to and from family visits, meetings, trainings and other locations.
Maintain confidentiality and up-to-date records; submit required paperwork on time.
Comply with MSSCA trainings, certifications, and background checks.
