Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver one-on-one evaluation and treatment in children’s homes. You will assess speech, language, feeding, and swallowing needs, then create individualized plans that promote progress in a compassionate, family-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active Texas SLP license or eligible to obtain licensure.
• 1 year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Experience supervising assistants is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's needs.
• Provide speech therapy addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding, and swallowing.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to support growth.
• Educate families and caregivers on strategies to promote carryover at home.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, high-quality care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
