Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Physical Therapist to deliver one-on-one therapy in homes, daycares, and schools. The role offers flexible full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules with a sign-on bonus and strong supervisory support.

Responsibilities include evaluations, goal-driven plans of care, and patient education to improve mobility and independence. A Texas PT license (or eligibility), pediatric experience, and potential bilingual proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current Texas Physical Therapy license, or eligible to obtain licensure before start date
• One year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and goals
• Provide physical therapy services to improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, endurance, and functional independence
• Implement physician-approved plans of care using evidence-based therapeutic interventions
• Provide caregiver education and training to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality, coordinated care
• Supervision of PTAs is a plus but not required
