Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide one-on-one therapy in children’s homes, daycares, and schools across the Greater Houston area. You’ll design personalized treatment plans and work with families to support functional goals in daily activities and school readiness.

The role offers flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, and PRN options, a sign-on bonus, and strong clinical support.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Texas OT license by start date.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Experience supervising COTAs preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based OT services per physician-approved Plans of Care.
• Address fine motor, sensory processing, coordination, strength, ROM, self-care, and daily living activities.
• Monitor progress and modify plans as needed.
• Educate families/caregivers on techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
