Job summary
Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to provide 1:1 pediatric home care across Wayne, Pompton Plains, and Franklin Lakes, NJ. This role covers private duty nursing with flexible shifts in pediatric cases including trach/vent and G-tube care.
Ideal candidates hold a New Jersey RN license and BLS certification, with willingness for 1:1 in-home care, weekend/evening coverage, and transportation to multiple client sites.
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey RN license.
- Experience with trach, ventilator, and G-tube care preferred.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Physical exam within 12 months.
- PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years).
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care in the home setting.
- Monitor and manage tracheostomy and ventilator support as ordered.
- Administer and monitor G-tube feedings.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and skilled nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with families, physicians, and the pediatric clinical team.
