Job summary

The Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles invite applications for a full-time hematopathology faculty member. This open-rank position emphasizes translational research, education, and clinical service in a world-class pediatric hematopathology program.

Applicants must hold an MD/MD-PhD/DO, have a California medical license, and ABP certification in Hematology and/or Pathology; molecular genetics pathology certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• MD/MD-PhD/DO degree and California medical license required.
• ABP certification in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology and Hematology required.
• Molecular Genetic Pathology certification considered advantageous.
• Open Rank faculty appointment with emphasis on research, teaching and clinical service.

Responsibilities

• Engage in research, clinical service and teaching in hematopathology.
• Collaborate with CHLA CBDI for interdisciplinary pediatric care.
• Contribute to translational research and education within KSOM/CHLA.
