Job summary

Advocate Health's Winston-Salem Campus seeks a pediatric hematology-oncology clinical pharmacist for inpatient care. This full-time role covers M-F 0800-1630, with weekend and on-call rotations (~6 weekends/yr, ~2 weeks on-call).

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in state(s) of practice; reciprocity if eligible.
• Immunization and non‑vaccine injectable certification required.
• Credentialing and privileging as per area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care and designs medication therapy regimens.
• Educates patients and caregivers on therapy, adverse effects, and administration.
• Monitors and evaluates patient-specific regimens based on biomedical literature.
• Reviews medication orders and participates in medical emergencies.
• Supports medication safety and quality improvement activities.
• Precepts students and mentors staff.
• Ensures age-appropriate care and regulatory compliance.
