Job summary

Ascension St Vincent is seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join their established practice in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The role includes providing consultations, managing pediatric patients with malignancies, and supervising chemotherapy administration.

Qualifications

• BE/BC fellowship-trained Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist required.
• Experience in managing pediatric malignancies and hematologic diseases.
• Ability to work in both ambulatory and acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultations and manage pediatric patients with malignancies.
• Offer inpatient consultations and management in acute care.
• Supervise RNs administering chemotherapy in ambulatory settings.

Title: Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Opportunity in Midwest

Marshfield Medical Center is seeking a BE/BC fellowship-trained Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join our established practice in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Job duties include providing consultations and managing pediatric patients with known or suspected malignancies and hematologic diseases in the ambulatory setting. The provider will also offer inpatient consultation and management of pediatric patients in the acute care setting, supervise RNs administering chemotherapy in the ambulatory setting, and is not required to take call.

Clinical Focus

• Clinical trials in the Children’s Oncology Group at the National Cancer Institute
• Treyden’s Cabin: a patient‑centred project celebrating a youth who passed from lymphocytic leukemia in 2013, featuring a forest‑themed waiting area
• Marshfield Children’s Hospital Oncology Wing

Our team includes hematologists and oncologists, oncology nurses, surgery, neurosurgery, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, behavioral health, child life specialists and many other specialists. We deliver expert care to children with cancer and blood disorders close to home in central Wisconsin.
