Job description

Title: Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Opportunity in Midwest

Marshfield Medical Center seeks a BE/BC fellowship-trained Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join our established practice in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The provider will offer outpatient consultations and management of children with malignancies and hematologic diseases, inpatient consultation and management in acute care, and supervision of RN-administered chemotherapy. There is no call with this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient consultations and management of pediatric oncology/hematology patients.
• Conduct inpatient consultations and manage pediatric patients in the acute care setting.
• Supervise registered nurses administering chemotherapy in the ambulatory setting.
• Participate in clinical trials through the Children’s Oncology Group at the National Cancer Institute.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including oncologists, nurses, surgery, radiology, behavioral health, and child life specialists.

Qualifications

• BE/BC fellowship-trained Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Oncology/Hematology.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
