Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Registered Nurse to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using established nursing processes. You will lead multidisciplinary care, administer chemotherapy and medications, and ensure family-centered support for immuno-compromised children.

Responsibilities include safe medication administration, central line monitoring, and thorough documentation in the electronic health record.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Florida (or compact)
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification
• American Heart Association PALS certification
• Chemo/APHO Pediatric Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Course

Responsabilités

• Plan, implement and document the plan of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Administer chemotherapy and patient medications per policy; adhere to six rights of medication administration.
• Monitor central lines, IV sites, labs and related patient safety protocols.
• Provide family-centered nursing care for immuno-compromised pediatric patients and educate families.
• Document care thoroughly in the electronic health record and communicate updates to the team.
• Collaborate in daily rounds and participate in nursing governance and unit activities.
