Job summary
Nemours Children's Health in Florida seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Physician with a focus on Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy to join our multidisciplinary program caring for children through transplant and cellular therapies.
The role encompasses inpatient and outpatient care, collaboration with a regional team of clinicians, opportunities in clinical and translational research, education of trainees, and participation in quality
Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
- Eligibility for Florida medical license.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical care for pediatric patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage hematologic malignancies, solid tumors, and related conditions.
- Deliver inpatient and outpatient care across transplant treatment, including pre-transplant evaluation and survivorship follow-up.
- Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and care conferences.
- Contribute to development and growth of the program and to clinical research initiatives.
- Engage in quality, safety, and process improvement activities; teach and mentor trainees.
