Qualifications

• ASN/ADN required at hire; BSN preferred, with BSN within 3 years if ASN/ADN.
• Current CT RN license or Nursing Compact License required.
• BLS/CPR for Providers required or obtained within 1 month.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct family-centered nursing care in ambulatory setting.
• Coordinate patient flow with clinical practice.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans.
• Educate patients and families on care and medications per protocols.
• Document care plans, patient status, and changes.
• Maintain CCMC documentation policies.
• Delegate care and serve as a resource to staff.
• Communicate data to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide psychosocial support to patient, family, and peers.
• Support pain management and age-appropriate care.
• Apply CCMC standards and cultural sensitivity.
