Qualifications

• Current State of Connecticut RN licensure or Nursing Compact License required.
• BLS/CPR for Providers required within 1 month of hire; preferred at hire.
• Specialty licensure/certification may be required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provides general or specialized nursing care to ambulatory patients and families.
• Facilitates flow of patients within the clinical practice and coordinates with child and family.
• Documents care plans, patient status, medications and vital signs clearly.
• Provides education to patient/family according to established protocols.
• Advocates for parents and families and supports psychosocial needs.
• Ensures documentation complies with CCMC policies and standards.
