Corewell Health’s Pediatric Hematology/Oncology clinic at the Royal Oak hospital is seeking a Specialty RN Ambulatory to support infusion therapies and port access for pediatric patients.

The role requires NICU-level acuity nursing skills, experience with medi-ports and IV initiation, and a commitment to safe, compassionate pediatric care in an ambulatory setting. Part-time schedule supports day shifts for families and staff balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (B.S.N., M.S.N., or DNP/PhD) required from an NLN approved school of nursing.
• 3 years of recent relevant acute care nursing experience, required.
• State of Michigan Registered Nurse license, required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification, required.
• APHON certification, required.
• Previous experience with accessing medi-ports and starting IVs, required.
• Specialty certification, required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cancer Treatment Center at Royal Oak hospital in a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology clinic.
• Comfortable with accessing medi-ports and starting IVs; monitor patients for infusion reactions.
• Care for pediatric patients receiving chemotherapy and blood transfusions.
