Job summary

InnovateTech in Charlottesville, VA is hiring a Health Information Technician to document with critical thinking and support Oxygen Therapy knowledge. The role is full-time with a four-day flex week and ongoing coaching to deepen Fall Prevention skills.

You will build rapport with anxious patients, audit documentation to VA standards, and mentor junior staff while ensuring smooth OR turnover and proper stock management. Strong EHR experience and pediatric care knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with anxious patients before Active Listening procedures.
• Walk the Charlottesville, VA floor at handoff and observe every patient before sign-out.
• Audit your documentation against VA charting standards before chart closure.
• Mentor junior clinical staff and assist onboarding as a junior team member.
• Set up and break down sterile trays between cases on a tight OR turnover clock.
• Monitor and replenish clinical supplies and medication stock.
