We're committed to giving children back their childhood!**Job Posting Title:**Pediatric Hand Occupational Therapist**Location:**Frisco - Ambulatory Surgical Center**Additional Posting Details:**Up to 20 hours per weekIdentified afternoons Monday - Friday until 6:00p.m.**Job Description:**# **Duties/Responsibilities*** Performs examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, intervention, and outcome in accordance with standards set by profession’s national association, scope of practice and hospital policies and guidelines. Works with leader to identify opportunities to improve performance in these areas across the department.* Provides age-appropriate and family-centered care in accordance with current evidence and practice standards, provider’s prescription and protocols and regulatory standards. Works with leader to identify opportunities to improve performance in these areas across the department.* Completes documentation per departmental and hospital policy and demonstrates an understanding of revenue cycle implications of effective documentation.* Utilizes effective verbal and written communication with providers, patients of all ages and their families, hospital staff members, and other professionals. Identifies ways to improve communication with these groups.* Supervises therapy aides, students and volunteers in order to maintain patient safety and regulatory standards.
