Job summary

Texas Children's Hospital in Austin, TX invites a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join its expanding academic program through Baylor College of Medicine. The role is full-time, primarily outpatient with dedicated endoscopy time and consultative inpatient coverage.

The team includes APPs, dietitians, and social work; candidates with interests in hepatology, IBD, motility welcome; schedule includes seven half-days of clinic, one half-day of procedures; strong call schedule; base salary 300k–350k

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Gastroenterology required.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Gastroenterology required.
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clinical mix with outpatient clinics and dedicated endoscopy time.
• Provide consultative inpatient coverage; no primary inpatient service.
• Collaborate with APPs, dietitian, and social-work support in a multidisciplinary team.
• Meet call coverage goal of 1:4 or better; participate in on-call as needed.
• Base salary target of $300,000–$350,000, commensurate with experience, plus productivity incentives.
• Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.
• Academic appointment through Baylor College of Medicine.
