Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Michigan (for NP path).
• Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program; Acute Care Pediatric NP certification in Michigan.
• DEA registration required; BLS and PALS per AHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care to pediatric and young adult patients in Pediatric Gastroenterology, including liver transplant patients.
• Take histories and perform physical exams; order/interpret studies; attend rounds; discharge planning and care coordination.
• Collaborate with subspecialties and consult services; stabilize and transfer to PICU if needed.
