The University of Iowa’s Stead Family Department of Pediatrics seeks a Clinical Trials Research Assistant/Associate to coordinate pediatric genetics trials, manage data, recruit participants, and prepare regulatory submissions.

The role requires strong communication, detail orientation, and knowledge of GCP/IRB processes; option of two levels (3A/4A) with salary ranges reflects experience and credentials. On-campus, full-time position in Iowa City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalency of education/experience.
• Six months to one year of clinical research experience.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of IRB procedures, FDA regulations and GCP guidelines.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with clinical and data coordination for research activities.
• Screen, recruit, enroll and obtain informed consent for clinical trials.
• Prepare regulatory documents for sponsor approval.
• Coordinate scheduling of trial-related procedures and visits.
• Develop data collection forms and assist in data management planning.
• Respond to data entry questions and support day-to-day trial activities.
