Job description

Join a leading children's hospital in Philadelphia as a Pediatric Geneticist, where you'll be part of a thriving genetics practice supporting a Level IV NICU, PICU, and comprehensive pediatric care services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct genetic evaluations and consultations for various conditions, including:
• Birth defects
• Chronic diseases
• Developmental delays
• Intellectual disabilities
• Suspected genetic abnormalities
• Provide genetics consultations for pediatric cancer and genetic syndromes
• Offer consultations for adult-onset genetic disorders
• Participate in research studies and clinical trials
• Develop and lead educational programs for residents and medical students
• Provide inpatient genetic consultations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals

Qualifications and Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Clinical Genetics & Genomics (ABMGG)
• Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
• DEA certification for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and medical education
