Job summary

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Pediatric Geneticist to join our expanding Pediatric Genetic Medicine team. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and opportunities for scholarly activity.

The successful candidate will contribute to academic endeavors and participate in our research and education programs within the Sidney Kimmel Medical College framework.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent from an accredited medical school.
• Board certifications in pediatrics and board certification/eligibility in clinical medical genetics are required, board certification in molecular genetics preferred.
• Unrestricted medical license and DEA in the state of Delaware.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric clinical genetics care to patients within the division and enterprise.
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians and genetic counselors across specialties for multidisciplinary care and research.
• Engage in scholarly activity and participate in CME and departmental initiatives.

Education

MD/DO or Equivalent

Board-certified in Pediatrics

Board-certified/eligible in Clinical Medical Genetics

Pediatric Geneticist (Finance)

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated pediatric clinical geneticist with a passion for patient care to join our exceptional and growing Pediatric Genetic Medicine team comprised of physicians, advanced practice providers, a Manager of Genetic Counseling, and a team of Genetic Counselors (GC), and Genetic Counselor Assistants (GCA). The division collaborates with specialties and multidisciplinary clinical programs across the enterprise for research.
