Overview

The Division of General Surgery, Section of Pediatric and Colorectal Reconstructive Surgery is seeking a pediatric surgeon with an interest in pediatric colorectal surgery to join our team of professionals who are committed to providing excellent care in a supportive environment. The candidate accepting this position will be responsible for an active clinical and surgical practice, as well as teaching medical students, surgery fellows, and residents. The candidate will rotate into general surgery call, with elective practice focused on colorectal surgery.

A colorectal research interest will be fostered by the section and in conjunction with our state‑of‑the‑art Children’s Mercy Research Institute. Academic appointments through the University of Missouri at Kansas City and the University of Kansas. Children’s Mercy offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
