• The candidate must have completed Pediatric Fellowship training and be Board Certified/Eligible in pediatric gastroenterology.
• Work involves a team in an 11-bed PICU and General Pediatric units.
• The hospital features a newly built Women's and Babies Center and a Level 3 NICU.
• The facility offers 18 subspecialties serving patients across 9 counties, including Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Endocrinology, General Surgery, Urology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Hematology, Nephrology, Allergy, Nutrition, Neurosurgery, Transplant, Hospital Medicine, Critical Care, and Neonatology.
• The local team works directly under the mentorship of the chief and clinical director of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. This direct connection ensures the Harrisburg team provides world-class care, integrating clinical research and best practices in real time with their Pittsburgh colleagues.
