The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We invite applications for a specialist in Pediatric Gastroenterology at our Capitol Hill Medical Center.

Our medical group comprises board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties. MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care. MAPMG researchers and staff support innovative ideas, ensuring quality care, educational programming, and advancing best practices through research.
What You Can Expect:
- Provide outpatient and telemedicine pediatric specialty care for Kaiser Permanente Health system patients in the Mid-Atlantic region
- Access to an on-site endoscopy suite, advanced endoscopy skills are preferred
- Collaborative in a multidisciplinary environment alongside board-certified pediatric gastroenterologists, nurses, clinical assistants, as well as dedicated anesthesiologists, radiology services, pharmacy, and advanced urgent care teams, all working together to support our pediatric patients
- Collaborate with a specialized nursing staff in the Pediatric Infusion Center, including APHON certified pediatric hematology/oncology nurses trained in chemotherapy/biotherapy administration
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including a nutritionist, nurse coordinator/case manager, pharmacist, on-site phlebotomist and child life specialist who are integral to our patient-centered care model

Minimum Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology
- Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting annual salary for this position is $280,000 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
