Job summary

Children’s National Rehabilitation and Specialized Care (RSC) Lanham seeks a SLP Pediatric Feeding Therapist to assess and treat feeding and swallowing disorders in children up to age 21. You’ll develop personalized therapy plans and educate caregivers within a collaborative team.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, Maryland licensure, CCC-SLP, and BLS. Location is Lanham, MD with a Monday–Friday schedule and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA (Required).
• Maryland licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (Required).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA) (Required).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA (Required).

Responsibilities

• Perform multidisciplinary evaluations and document results.
• Discuss evaluation results with families and the care team.
• Provide treatment and discharge planning per plan of care.
• Involve families in goals and home program activities.
• Maintain competencies and comply with regulations and policies.
