Job summary

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center seeks a Pediatric Emergency Technician for a part-time night shift in Washington, DC. You will assist in delivering pediatric emergency care under supervision, monitor patients, and support the ED team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an state-approved EMT course per National EMS Education Standards.
• 1 year of recent ED/EMS experience or equivalent.
• Required BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• De-escalation training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients, take vital signs, monitor condition, and report changes.
• Assist with patient care per plan of care under supervision.
• Provide bedside care including activities of daily living and mobility assistance.
• Ensure personal care and hygiene for patients.
• Transport patients and assist with positioning and transfers.
• Set up and safely handle patient care equipment.
