Job summary
American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric ER RN with an active NV license and at least two years of pediatric emergency experience for a night shift role at a Level II trauma center in Reno. The position features a 3x12 night shift schedule (36 weekly hours) with no on-call requirements, and may require weekend/holiday coverage and occasional cross-unit floating.
Working hours use Epic EMR with orientation provided.
Qualifications
- Active NV RN license required prior to start.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications.
- Minimum two years pediatric ER experience.
- Experience with pediatric resuscitation and care of critically ill children.
- Strong documentation skills and compassionate patient/family care.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Children's ER at a Level II trauma center.
- 3x12 night shift schedule with 36 guaranteed weekly hours.
- No on-call requirements; schedule may include weekends and holidays.
- Floating to other units as needed; may take an additional shift.
- Epic EMR is used with orientation or test-out option available.
