Job summary

Incredible Health Hospitals in Old Bridge, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse - Pediatric ER to join our team. Multiple shifts available (day, night, mid) with full-time, part-time, and per diem options. You will care for pediatric patients in urgent care settings, manage medications, operate pediatric equipment, and participate in emergencies.

Requires ADN or higher nursing degree and an active RN license. BLS/ACLS/PALS preferred; 1+ year pediatric/ER experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• 1+ year experience in pediatric and/or ER setting preferred.
• Experience with pediatric equipment and procedures.
• Excellent communication with children, families and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first line of defense for young patients needing urgent medical care.
• Treat pediatric patients with trauma, injury or serious conditions.
• Assess needs quickly and prioritize care.
• Monitor health, administer medications and operate equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans and determine disposition.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.
