Job summary

Aura Health is seeking a dedicated pediatric emergency nurse to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced ED for infants to adolescents. You will perform triage, initiate treatments, and support families in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced pediatric emergency nurse with BLS/PALS proficiency.
• Shows strong assessment, critical thinking, and safe IV/medication administration.
• Excellent teamwork and clear communication with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient triage and assess urgent needs promptly.
• Administer medications and start IVs as indicated.
• Monitor cardiac and respiratory status and recognize changes requiring escalation.
• Respond to emergencies using PALS and BLS standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care.
• Educate and support patients and families.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Follow strict safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance practices.
