Job summary

Children’s Minnesota’s pediatric emergency department in Minneapolis seeks a dedicated RN to provide family-centered care for infants to young adults. You will use the nursing process and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based care in a fast-paced ED setting.

Required qualifications include MN RN licensure, BLS, and ED experience within the last 2 years, plus PALS/ENPC/TNCC certifications or orientation-based completion.

Qualifications

• Must hold Minnesota RN licensure and graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year ED experience within the last 2 years.
• PALS, ENPC and TNCC certifications required or obtained during orientation.
• Additional unit-specific certifications may be required within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with the health care team to deliver high-quality pediatric emergency care.
• Uphold professional practice with independent nursing tasks and delegated medical functions.
