Phoenix Children's Hospital in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Department Nurse for the Arrowhead Campus on a night shift. The role focuses on pediatric critical care or emergency nursing with a minimum of 1 year RN experience; new graduates may apply to our dedicated New Graduate RN opportunities.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, child-centered care.

Competenze

• Minimum of 1 year RN experience.

Mansioni

• Completes nursing assessment of pediatric patients across age groups to determine initial care plan.
• Monitors patient responses to care, documents progress, and communicates with healthcare team and families.
• Performs planned nursing interventions while ensuring medication safety and regulatory standards.
• Provides unit orientation and education to patients, families, and staff.
• Supervises care delivery and safely delegates tasks according to competency.
• Collaborates with the care team and families to implement and adjust the plan of care.
• Mentors students and new employees to promote quality patient care and safety.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as requested.
