Job summary

UMC Health System in Lubbock, Texas seeks an Advanced Practice Provider for Pediatric Emergency Care. This full-time day shift (7A-7P) offers 84 hours per two-week period and opportunities to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced ED setting.

Under supervision, you will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, support families, and coordinate multi-disciplinary care in alignment with hospital policies and mission.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited master's level program for APRN or PA.
• Critical care and/or emergency center experience desired.
• Eligible for Texas State Licensure as PA or NP.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and assist in planning and implementing patient care.
• Provide patient and family support and education.
• Coordinate care and education with multi-disciplinary teams; follow hospital policies.
